Axel Radics is currently the acting Division Chief of the IDB's Fiscal Management Division at headquarters, where he is also a Lead Specialist with a focus on decentralization and subnational governments. Previously, he worked as a Specialist in the Country Offices of Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru, and worked in the Office of Monitoring and Evaluation. In the Argentine National Government, he coordinated the “Cristal” fiscal transparency program and the Electronic Government initiative of the Head of Cabinet of Ministers and was a researcher at CIPPEC and CEDI. Axel is an Economist from the Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina, MPP from the Harvard School of Government and a Doctor in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
