Alejandro Rodríguez Ramírez is a consultant at IDB's Fiscal Management Division, where he works on topics related to subnational governments and decentralization. He has a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University. Before joining the IDB, he worked as a public policy advisor for legislators and for the heads of several departments and agencies of subnational governments in Mexico. He also coordinated a non-profit organization at the local level.
