Multilateral finance expert, group manager, and professional with extensive experience and knowledge in establishing public-private partnerships, power transmission programs, low-carbon transition policies, corporate governance, sustainable development, and climate finance activities. Previously, he directed the IDB's energy program in Argentina, Colombia, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Throughout his career, he has worked in Ecuador, Guyana, Jamaica, Peru, and Suriname, and led outreach and collaboration activities in the IDB's Energy Division. Previously, he worked at the World Bank Group in the Environmental and Social Sustainable Development Division for the Latin America and Caribbean Region. He has a BS in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering from Universidad de la Salle in Bogotá, Colombia, and two Masters of Science in Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering and Engineering Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
