Romario ha trabajado para Banco Real, ABN AMBRO, RBS y Bank of America en productos financieros, comercio y cadena de suministros, tesorería, operaciones y créditos, y como jefe comercial de una compañía fintech.

Romario se especializa en productos y ventas para transacciones bancarias, relaciones bancarias, y liderazgo comercial. Romario ha vivido y trabajado en Brasil, España, Colombia y México, y habla inglés, español y portugués.

Romario tiene una licenciatura de negocios y contabilidad de la Universidad Pontificia Catolica de MG en Brasil, un MBA de London University Madrid, y está certificado como contador público (CPA) de Conselho Regional de Contabilidade de Minas Gerais. Además, está certificado como entrenador transformacional de la International Coaching Federation (ICF) y el Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
