Xavier Grau

Xavier Grau Benaiges se incorporó al Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) en el año 2005. Hasta marzo del 2010 trabajó en la oficina del BID en Georgetown, Guyana, liderando los proyectos de agua y saneamiento en Guyana, Suriname y Trinidad y Tobago. En marzo del 2010, Xavier se incorporó a la oficina del BID en República Dominicana como Especialista en Agua y Saneamiento. Xavier cubre también proyectos del sector en Costa Rica y Belice. Antes de trabajar con el BID, Xavier trabajó en el sector privado en estudios de agua, saneamiento y manejo sostenible de recursos naturales en Belice, Bolivia, Colombia, República Dominicana, El Salvador, Guatemala y Honduras. Xavier obtuvo el título de economista en la Universidad de Barcelona, España, y tiene una Maestría en Manejo Ambiental otorgada por la Universidad de Duke en Estados Unidos, donde concentró sus estudios en el manejo de recursos hídricos en el noreste de España.
