Xavier Grau
Javier Grau is a water and sanitation specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Peru, where he works on the financing, design, and supervision of water, sanitation, and solid waste operations in Peru and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Javier joined the IDB in 2005 and has since worked in the offices of Guyana, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Ecuador. Prior to joining the IDB, Javier worked in the private sector in the areas of water, sanitation, and sustainable natural resource management in Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona, Spain, and a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Policy from Duke University in the United States, where he focused his studies on water resource management under drought conditions in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia.
