Nancy Argueta
Nancy Argueta is a consultant in the Social Protection and Labor Markets Division at the IDB. Previously, she worked as a consultant for various United Nations agencies, including the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She has also held various positions in cooperation projects, international organizations, and the private sector in El Salvador. Her areas of interest include research, with a focus on poverty, informality, social protection, and labor markets. She is both a psychologist and an economist and holds master's degrees in Applied Labor Economics for Development from the University of Turin and the ILO International Training Centre in Italy, as well as in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague, Netherlands.
