Manuel Urquidi es especialista líder en operaciones en la División de Mercados Laborales del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID). Su trabajo se centra en desarrollar soluciones de transformación digital para promover el acceso al empleo, mejorar los procesos de supervisión y ejecución de los proyectos del área, y asegurar que los mismos incorporan consideraciones de género, diversidad y gestión ambiental. Antes de unirse al BID en 2011, ocupó cargos de asesoría en agencias del gobierno boliviano. Asimismo, coordinó actividades dentro del Programa de Especialización en Desarrollo Económico Comunitario de la Universidad Simon Fraser (Vancouver, Canadá), en coordinación con entidades académicas y de desarrollo en Bolivia. Manuel cuenta con una Maestría en Gerencia de Proyectos de Desarrollo en la Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Bolivia) y una Licenciatura de la Universidad de Los Andes (Chile) en Filosofía, con un énfasis en procesos de conocimiento humano. Además, tiene Diplomados en Educación Superior, Gobierno y Gestión Pública.
