David Matías

David Matías

David is an economist with a master’s in economics from the Colegio de México. He works as an energy economist in the knowledge team of the Energy Division at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). In this role, David is involved in various projects related to electricity market design, energy subsidies, and electricity tariffs. Before joining the IDB, David worked for Management Solutions and KPMG, providing financial and management advice. He served as an economic research intern at several institutions, including Banco de México, Instituto Belisario Domínguez, and the Laboratorio Nacional de Políticas Públicas at CIDE.
