Colleen Weekes is a Sectoral Research Consultant within IDB’s Infrastructure and Energy Division. She has over 8 years of professional experience in the fields of sustainability, resilience, energy and education in the Caribbean region. She has previously worked as a Junior Researcher at the University of Aruba and Consultant at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean based in Trinidad and Tobago. Colleen holds a Master of Science degree in Renewable Energy Management and is currently pursing doctoral studies in Engineering Technology with a focus on waste-to-energy systems.
