Ana Cristina García

Ana worked as consultant for gender mainstreaming in Housing and Urban Development Operations at the IDB. She has more than ten years of experience in the public and private sectors in organizations such as the United Nations, the Permanent Missions of Mexico to the UN and the OAS, and at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, in areas such as human rights, gender equality, climate change, and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Ana has organized and participated in events at the United Nations, New York University, and the Ninth World Urban Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University, a Bachelor's in International Business from Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Mexico, and a diploma from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Troyes, France.
