Paola Gordon Luna
Paola Gordon Luna is a consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank. She coordinates the Research and Development Network of the Observatory of Water and Sanitation for Latin America and the Caribbean (OLAS). With over a decade of experience in the region, she has led projects that transform the understanding, management, and preservation of water. Her work drives sustainable solutions that integrate water planning with entrepreneurship, technology, governance, data, science, infrastructure, and community action, ensuring equitable and sustainable access to water and sanitation, water resource management, and climate change adaptation. Her academic profile is interdisciplinary and international, including an MBA from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Guadalajara, Project Management studies at the University of Utah, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Panama. She has also completed studies at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and Yale University. In 2019, she received the MujerTec award, and in 2003, the Violet Richardson award, which recognizes women leaders in the Americas. Since 2021, she has been an opinion columnist for the Ibero-American Scientific and Cultural News Network.
