Viviana is an Operations Analyst in the Energy Division at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where she mainly contributes to preparing investment projects. He has nearly ten years of experience in the management of energy projects, public policies, compliance, and regulation within the energy sector, working in multilateral organizations, the private sector, and government bodies. Recently, he has participated in designing and supervising initiatives related to the energy transition, energy access, and electricity storage in Ecuador, Panama, and Peru. Among his areas of expertise are the implementation of energy policies, the design of regulatory reforms, and the analysis of the regulatory environment in the electricity sector. Before joining the IDB, Viviana held strategic roles at a multinational energy company based in Mexico, leading government relations and ensuring regulatory compliance in an uncertain regulatory environment. He also worked in Mexico's energy regulatory body, contributing to market liberalization and advising senior managers on implementing energy reforms. Viviana is an internationalist from the Universidad Anáhuac Mexico and has a master’s degree in Energy Policy and Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
