Carolina González-Velosa es Especialista Sénior de la División de Mercados Laborales y Seguridad Social del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID). Sus áreas de especialización incluyen empleo, formación de habilidades para el trabajo, pensiones y seguridad social. En el BID, Carolina ha participado en proyectos de investigación y en el diseño e implementación de intervenciones en Colombia, Panamá, Perú y Trinidad y Tobago. Su trabajo ha sido publicado en revistas académicas y en publicaciones insignia del BID. Antes de trabajar en el BID, Carolina trabajó en el Gobierno de Colombia en temas fiscales y de análisis macroeconómico. También fue docente en universidades en Colombia y Estados Unidos. Es economista de la Universidad de los Andes de Bogotá, Colombia, y PhD en Economía de la Universidad de Maryland.
