Trade Specialist at the Integration and Trade Sector (INT) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) in Washington DC for ten years and currently based in San José. He coordinates INT’s sub-regional hub for Central America, Panama and the Dominican Republic. He coordinated several areas including the technical support that the IADB provided to the FTAA negotiating process, Central America trade and integration issues and other WTO issues. He was also Adjunct Professor of a course on Trade and Integration in the Americas at Georgetown University Law Center (2004-2008). Before joining the IADB, Mr. Granados was Director General for International Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica. He holds a Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica, a LLM from the University of Georgia and a MSc in Public Policy from Oxford University.
